Today's Prayer

Daily Thoughts

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
— Psalm 19:14

Our thoughts on matters that are important to us are informed by many things: our experiences, our upbringing, our understanding of Scripture, the people influences in our lives. The culmination of these thoughts helps to bring light to who we are as a person, what we value, and how we view the world.

I would never claim the thoughts I share on this sight to be THE truth; they may contain truth (I hope they do!), but they do not carry the weight of God's word which is truth. Here is my hope, the reason I share these thoughts - that they may resonate with you, bringing encouragement, or, that they may bring some new insight that will expand your understanding of who God is and how he relates to us.

But if not, possibly they will challenge your thinking, giving you something to ponder and or a reason to disagree and solidify your own thinking. Either way, I humbly submit these thoughts to you and pray they will point you to the one who is truth, Jesus Christ.
